Conference Design, Implementation and On-site Services
While I have worked on conference and training materials for a division of IBM through employers and contract work for over 20 years, it was in 2012 that IBM asked us to take on design and production of signs at their events. This began as small easel signs, but as they merged events and grew over the years, the signs and need for brand impact grew quickly. I have branded several entire facilities in Las Vegas, Orlando, New Orleans, Washington, Hollywood (FL) and Atlanta, including on-site services, and created designs for worldwide events from Prague to Buenos Aires to Lagos.

- Event brand development as a subset of corporate branding
- Site visit, measurements, venue staff meetings
- Develop recommended sign list, including placements and quantities
- Participate in team calls and make recommendations
- Design program guide booklet, badges, flyers, tabletop signs and other small items as needed
- Site and element design concepting, revisions and print file prep
- Print and technology vendor relationships and site visits for press proofs
- Assistance with setting up pallets for shipping to venue, final checks
- Installation of floor signs, supervision of venue/vendors for larger items
- Remaining on site for daily sign changes, updating signs when details change, and helping wherever needed
- Packing up at end of event to return reusable items to warehouse
